WebStart Applet Does Not Have XP Look and Feel

Description:

The 1.4.2 JRE includes a built-in XP ‘look and feel’; any WebStart applet running on XP should maintain an XP-like display. However, in order to minimize the footprint of the OS, some XP installations have omitted the ‘Windows XP Style’ theme (under Display Properties/Appearance/Windows and Buttons). 

Resolution:

This theme can be restored to the system by copying the following from another XP system that does have this theme: 
C:\Windows\System\Resources\Themes\Luna (copy the entire folder) 
–and– 
C:\Windows\System\Resources\Themes\Luna.theme
