00696: Incorrect TIM being returned under Linux

Title:

Incorrect TIM being returned under Linux

Description:

The TIM function is returning incorrect time. This function queries the Operating System’s environmental variable time and returns it. The name of this variable is dependent on how the kernel is set up.

RedHat Linux 5.0 (and 5.1) puts zoneinfo in the /usr/share/zoneinfo directory.

PRO5 expects it to be in /usr/lib/zoneinfo.

Resolution:

Issue the following command logged in as root:

ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo /usr/lib/zoneinfo
