Causes of “unknown fileset errors” during installation of a Windows product
Description:
1. Bad Media–if installing from diskettes, the media could be bad. Try copying diskettes to hard drive and try again.
2. Is the error referencing a specific file? We have seen this occur when updates are downloaded from the website and a full installation is attempted. (The utility set is not part of the update for 1.05. 11/06/97)
3. If this was downloaded from the BASIS website in multiple file formats, verify that both files were extracted. If possible, try downloading the single file format and try again.
