Novell Client 32:Error and Update Information

Description:

Under Win95 using the Netware Client 32 there is a known issue with the client kit returning a message similar to: 

        Please wait while <application> retries request to <server>. To stop waiting, press Enter. Netware will then         return an error and try to reconnect in the background. 

According to the Novell forums it is related to heavy traffic on the network. Using the latest Rev of the Client Kit (2.2) is reported to help alleviate the problem. The Network Administrator should also check the statistics on the network and the server network card. Tuning of the network and workstation client kit is recommended. 

Resolution:

On 12 June 1998 Novell released new Client Kits for Win 95 and WinNT.
